Anthropocene Gradients (#1) was a guerrilla installation/commission/proposal for Naropa University's highly acclaimed and (in)famous Summer Writing Program, responding to the year's themes: Documentary Poetics, the Interface between Writing and Research; Dharma Imagination; Roots, Elders, Archives, Topologies; and Performance: When the Walls of the City Shake.
The prosaic and laconic text works were installed around Naropa's campus, and renewed as poets or the weather made away with them.
